Teachers Spend Way Too Much Money...
I went to OfficeMax today to buy their penny pencils...ended up spending $30.00 on other teacher stuff. Everytime, EVERYTIME!

Help Wanted
Remade my class jobs poster. Because I was running around like a chicken with it's head cut off this time last year, I never got my poster the way I wanted. So, I thought I'd totally redo it and put some more time into it. I'm also planning on starting a blue and green theme within my classroom, so it will fit right in! Enjoy!
"What's for lunch today?" "What's for lunch?" "Do you know what's for lunch?" Ahh!!
It seemed like every day last year my students would ask what was for lunch...SO this year I've decided to fix that and I will be posting the monthly lunch menu on this...
It was very easy to make and I'll be able to clothes-pin the menu every time. :)

Let the cutting begin!
Here's what I'm doing with my Wednesday night. I just took my fourth trip to Lakeshore this summer (that store is my anti-drug...I've given them so much money!) My project this summer was to get all of my accents for my calendar done because I didn't have time to do it last year. (I was like a chicken with it's head cut off this time last year) SO I'll be cutting away tonight. Lots and lots of cutting...
You can buy these at Lakeshore...although the entire kit was $30.00. I decided with the amount of time I would put into hand making them, it was worth the money. :)

Writing Process
Decided that it's time to start being productive this summer! Goodbye June, hello July!
My weakest subject to teach is definitely writing (which would make my mother cringe since she was an English teacher for 30 years!). I'm starting this year off by teaching the actual process before I even have the students write. Here are the labels I made that will go above my pizza pans (so I can put the kids names on magnets--I'd die without magnets in my classroom!)
I'll post a picture once it's all up and running in my room. :)
Even though I'm being somewhat productive, I'm still doing it in my pjs at home while watching How I Met Your Mother...happy summer and stay cool!
